Thanks!
I hope to get photos running this weekend. I am borrowing scripts from a Hot Wheels Red Line collector that I know.
Wish me luck!
When shall we have the next race in the Land-of-Lakes?

Can't wait to see it. Good Luck!
Is the new track almost ready, it would be fun to race on the new one (either way would be fine). It would be good if we could get some more racers to participate as well. Sounds like there are a few WIRL builders who might try and make it. Do you know of any others that might be interested?
When were you thinking of having another race?

Mr. Slick: Site looks good, and track is interesting. I notice fall from transition to finish line, which is alittle different, but o.k. Are there any proxy races before January?? I would be interested in sending cars asap. Fred

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Birthday Wheeler!
The November race might be an official WIRL sanctioned race.
The December race will most likely be WIRL sanctioned.
All of the monthly 2007 races will be WIRL sanctioned.
The long track set up, 8 sections, is almost always run with a 2" per section slope added. This helps guarentee that all of the cars can make it ot the end of the track. I found it amazing how many seemed to run out of gas after 40 feet or so. :-)
I hate the disappointment on the kids end when that happens so I added the slope when the track went to 8 sections several years ago.
The new track is currently 5 sections, haven't finished the last three yet. . . soon. . . Frames are made and track is waiting to be applied.
I hope to get some photos of the new track this weekend.
My focus will be on getting the new track tuned.

Welcome WoodenShoe! Nice to hear from new people.
This board was started for people who have specific interests in PwdRacing.com
Mostly there are two groups. Local groups that I help out with their races, people who attend the building workshops that I do, and people who race at PwdRacing.com races.
PwdRacing.com races are going to be monthly races with live and proxy racing.
The activities are mostly in the Twin Cities area in Minnesota.

Warren,
Thanks for the welcome. I would like to learn more about PwdRacing.com. What are you goals? Is it the same as WIRL and PDDR? How does it differ from those leagues? What classes are there to race in? Etc.
