Warren,
Congratulations on the new racing league. I'm sure it will work out fine for you. I'm excited to see how the Jan. 21st races go.
Good luck

Thanks guys! After the track practice yesterday I am feeling like things will work out. For the January Race we will use the 42' BestTrack that Warthog has. I haven't gotten all of the plating down on the new 64' Challenger design so we will have to wait and see if I get the time/energy after New Years! For the differences take a look at the Guiding principles that are posted on www.pwdracing.com/PwdRacingGP_rev1.html and hopefully you will get an feeling for what I am up to. PwdRacing will be specializing in the "racing" and "group workshops" aspects and not the advanced building, tuning, or parts areas. The area we have to do the races has some nice features. Lights, wireless network connections, lots of space, only on door to go through to bring in the track, dual big screen projectors, sound system, etc. I still need to work on getting a better video setup. I just have to arrange to meet up with the AV guy from the church and we should be set for the hardware. Then I need to get the RaceReplay for GPRM and we can have all sorts of fun testing things out! So as not to disappoint too many racers I'll have at least the old 64' track setup so we can do some comparative runs with the cars in January. I will say that I was very proud (surprised?) that my 12 year old car had the same variance in 6 runs as CandyCane.

Nice work Warren. Our group also runs Pinewood Derbies for Packs mostly in the Northern suburbs of Minneapolis. We are headquartered in Coon Rapids, MN. Our website is listed below if you want to see what we're up to as well. I will add your website to our Links page. Chuck Sylvester A Bunch Of Old Guys And A Track www.abunchofoldguysandatrack.com/

Gentlemen: I guess we found you! We sent in one of my oldest boy's cars for the February 17th race, can't wait to see her on the "big screen". Rookie Division, here we come!!! Don't know how much Mrs. Bubba will let us play with you, but we're looking forward to at least one outing with the "big boys".

Greetings All:
My son took part in his last pinewood derby as a Cub Scout a month ago, and I thought our Pinewood Derby days were over, until I discovered proxy racing. We sent a car to WIRL for their February race and we're hooked. Stumbled onto your site through the Derby Worx message board, and we're very excited to have even more opportunities to race. I hope to send an entry to race the rookie division in March. See you then.
