Thanks to Warren and Bob (staying up 'til 5:00 a.m. to post the results) for all your hard work! I can't wait to see the videos of the race, I missed watching it live because I was out in the middle of Green Bay fishing walleyes. Hopefully Max and I will be able to make it to the September race live.
Talk about FAST racing this month, EVERYBODY was rockin!!! It looks like new records were set in nearly every class... Warren, can you hold the race in the Atrium EVERY month?!? ;D
Congratulations to Proquest, DocB, DaPine (man, you've really got those needle classed figured out!), Slickerthan, and last but not least, Mrs. Beaker! Your delightfully curvacious "Bubblicious" runs every bit as good as it looks!

I think Mrs. Beaker may be the first female league racer to ever win a division and set a record !!!! Lucky 13

I think the track set-up was extremely close to level and straight - we had 9 people there so we got things setup rather nice. I think the speed was due to the bright lights. I have afeeling the cars are built in dark rooms in basements for the most part and they were rejoicing being out in the bright sunlight! We could see about getting the atrium for next years races if people want. We did have to do a couple of things different in the set up. We had a couple of chairs to shade the finish line area to get the IR detectors to trigger with the thin nosed cars. . . too much side IR bouncing around under the track. We also put up a backdrop - as best we could - behind the start area - we would be better prepared next time with a better backdrop. I'm going to try something at the race this Saturday to eliminate that - It is an outdoor race in downtown Minneapolis. 801 Washington at 1PM for set-up. It will be FUN!!!
