Alright...Who's in ? I shipped 3 cars out today. Limited, Stock and Modified !! Didn't make to many changes to them, last month was the first time they've ran good all year , most have been the good ole' Hobe-E-Lube that I switched back to. I've had no luck with Krytox ? I "think" (that usually gets me in trouble) that the stock and mod cars were steering a little to hard into the rail, so I backed off the steer some. I guess I'll find out Saturday if I was right ?? Good Luck to everyone this weekend !! Lucky 13

I'm in with three. After 4 months of running on the same lube, Wasabi got a major tune up, Senpai got a minor tune up, and Tabasco got a good stern talking to and a minor tune up (if she doesn't shape up, I'm sending her to pasture). I have a very uneasy feeling that my tune ups did more harm than good. But like Lucky said, "I guess I'll find out Saturday . . ."
Fire up Dudes, the green light is just 4 days away!!!

I'm in for my usual 3 cars.
Trying to realign the rear axles, I broke 2 of them. I think I improved them, but like Bob and Steve, we will know more Saturday.
Good luck to all racers.

I have made it a habit, ever since we had a car show up after we left, to check at the PostOffice in the morning to see if there are any packages for Saturday. . . another reason why Saturday evening may be better.
Only four boxes so far. . .

I will have one first-ever pro mod, and maybe a converted pro stock and possibly a stock. I have my son's first communion saturday, so I won't be online (unless it is changed to evening). Mine will be overnighted again, so hopefully we don't get a snowstorm (ya never know here.) Good luck to all.
Enrico p.s. When are you going to start selling the pinewood derby "track suits"?

Welcome G_Redshift.
Awesome that you are joining in. Do you know what to do to view the race live and chat live with other builders during the race?
If so, skip this paragraph and go the last line of this post, if not, read on -- Just send Mr. Slick your Yahoo Messenger ID and ask that he add you to the race invitation list, then be on the computer at 1:00 Eastern. Just before the start of the race Mr. Slick will send out invitations and one will magically appear on your computer screen. Just click "accept" when the invitation appears. Oh, you will need a head set (mic and speaker) to hear and be heard. Also, Yahoo Messenger Audio is not compatible with the Vista Operating System. So, if you are running Vista you should be able to view the race, but you may have trouble hearing and talking with others in the audio conference. I heard that MicroSoft has come out with an upgrade that fixes the problem, but I haven't seen it.
Best of luck to you and all who take part.

I hope that everyone has a great race, and Big Daddy Lucky 13 will call me with results. Now I just have to find my way up there, and this weekend should be very, very cool.
