Well, They say a picture is worth a thousand words. This one should sum up the results of my boys District race !! The youngest (tiger) took 2nd overall and the oldest (bear) took 3rd overall. Council is in 2 weeks, it looks like we have a little more tuning to do !! A special Thank You to ProQuest for some helpful info right before race day and to DerbyDoc for all his help this derby season !! Lucky 13

Way to Go Lucky & Crew! I just knew that the flamed out car was going to do well. Thanks for sharing the pic. Was that a wooden track? + how many cars were in and any of the other guys from your new pack there?

Now that picture is awesome. I love the shirt. I need a shirt like that. I could wear it to the peachtree race. Or I could wear it at the super secret southeast open.........right? ??

Was that a wooden track? + how many cars were in and any of the other guys from your new pack there? Sappington, you were right on the money with the flamed car, it has some go to it !! The track that was used is a wooden home made 3 lane with a micro-wizard K-3 timer. If you look in the background of the picture you can see it. It was the same track used at the pack race. I think the final tally was 47 cars, but, I'm not 100% sure. Our new pack was well represented at Districts. They took 3 out of the top 5 spots in the race and 1st place in the show only division !! Way to go guys.
I'm sure that the races have helped make your move a little more bearable and helped your family make new friends.
Does Seth still stage his cars as quickly as he did a couple years ago at the Lima Land Open?
Again congratulations!!
Phil
