A friend of mine, Jeff, and his wife, Jamie, built this open class car to bring autism awareness to their local Cub Scout Pack for their son Kyle. Jamie did all the sanding and hand painting. Personally, I think it should win 'best of show', but to add to that, it is a sub 3.0 speedster! Congratulations Jamie, Kyle, and Jeff!!! beginning of Scout PWD season and up to my eyeballs as usual, but it's fun helping everyone out.[/img]

Well, my friend Jeff and family did really well at the Pack race today. His two boys each won first place for their rank, and first and second overall for the pack. Kyle, the oldest, who has autism, was pack champion, and set the track record twice!!! And "Autism Awareness" won first place in open class for Jeff's wife Jamie. All in all a very good day for their family! Congrats guys, and we'll see you at district!!!!!
