Wow! What a trip. I left the Rosemount, MN workshop shortly after 3pm(Central) Friday. It was snowing.... took two and a half hours to go the first 75 miles! Saw lots of people on the road sides after rear end accidents(following a tad too close?) in the ditches (going a bit too fast?), and some even pointing the wrong way due to spinning! I ended up being about 30 minutes late 866 miles later... I got the track taken down and loaded into the car for the trip back by 7:30am central time. I headed back. The return trip took longer due to the frequency of stops to "refresh" and stay alert. I got back home at 10pm central. Not bad but lots of driving for one trip. I exceeded the maximum drive time for a commercial driver ... sorry. It used to be a lot easier when I was a lot younger. Anyway, after shoveling the foot of snow and the snow plow "gift", I managed to get over to the workshop and unloaded the track and everything else! The shipping address will be: PwdRacing, LLC % Warren Kalsow 848 Greening Dr Apple Valley, MN 55124-8919 The race location is at the workshop in Rosemount Plaza, suites 5 and 8. 14555 South Robert Trail (Hwy 3) Rosemount, MN 55068 Hope to have the track set-up and tuned by the middle of January so it will be ready for the next PwdRacing League race. If you want to stop by and visit the schedule for workshop times is at: www.PwdRacing.com/2013workshop_schedule.pdfWarren

I am glad that you made it there safe and sound. I was worried and you know that any time you are in Ohio, the Evo hotel is open to you.
After our conversations I am sure that this move by the league is the one to make. PWDR has many great supporters and the staff is top notch. This will bring the racing closer for some and will open the door to some new racers. PWDR already has many many great proxy racers so a move of the track is nothing to these guys. They will adjust quickly and certainly will be fast.
Since this really will be new to me as I have not proxy raced in a very long time. I have actually only proxy raced two ever and those were the first two races I ever did. This is going to be fun for sure. With the current methods of shipping cars, I know my cars will arrive in great condition and ready to lay some great times down. Now I guess we will see what the "Top" racers can do!

I am 5.25 hours away from PWDR's new site. I plan on trying to attend the first race if the "stars align".
I am going to see if I can get some of the guys from around the WI-IL area to go along. I got the Trophy Wife's old Mini Van so we can put some people in it.

Evo, Make sure you put a return address label inside the box ;D if you are shipping proxy. Just picking on you buddy!
It will be great if you are racing Evo. I know Warren can set-up a track and the racing will be fun!

I know, wouldn't it be something if I forgot my registration form or return shipping label.

Hey, I've only mis-shipped one box in the several years of doing the proxy races... and that was before the time of having return labels in the boxes too!. I'm working from home today. 16" of snow.... will probably have to buy a snowblower. Please feel free to drop in for the races or to use the workshop facilities. Most every tool except the lathes.

X, Trophy Wife got a new 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan out of the deal! I got a new car loan and her old mini van. The "kicker" is that my 2003 G35 is sitting in the garage back in Chattanooga!
Since I am in Dallas most of the time, the G35 is better off in Nooga right now. Keep it away from the salt of WI. It only has less than 60K on it and has been well kept (just like Trophy Wife). I would probably sell the car but, hopefully, Trophy Wife and family will stay around!

With the race location being 14555 South Robert Trail (Highway 3) Rosemount, MN 55068; MapQuest is showing 1061 miles from our address. The 1061 mileage would be one way. It appears that we will be Proxy racing unless business related travel is in the area.

Tom,
I know that I have spoken with a couple people already and we are talking about going up at least once this season. Hopefully maybe we all can work it out to be there at the same time.
I think Mr. Slick will be announcing a few more things in the coming days, so we will have to wait and see what months will be best.

I would probably be fast enough to race against you guys if you let me place a couple pieces of cardboard under the rear legs of the start section to drop that additional 2 hundredths! LOL
