Are photos available of the "454" top three cars? I believe there were some new cars in the finals that finished in the top three spots. Will the pictures of the new cars be posted?

We have had an issue with the sd card from the camera, so I will not be able to post pictures of the cars. I do have some pictures of people receiving their trophies and those will be posted soon.

the red wheel looks like a non-dom. wheel turned around with tape over it with his logo on the tape

Shade has it right, the red is a BSA wheel turned backwards.
The pictured car actually ran at the other league and was set-up using BSA wheels... I changed the wheels to Maximun Velocity wheels for the PWDR championship race in November.
Yes the rules were changed... Pine-car, Pine-Pro, MV Precision and Awana wide wheels were eliminated from the limited & 454 classes at the PWDR for the 2013 season.

Thanks! The wheel looks pretty cool with the tape and your logo. What do you use to make the wheel covers?
By the way is the 454 class difficult to tune. Kind of like the way they look!

I just used transparency clear film to cover the wheel. It is thicker than packing tape and works well for wheel covers or covering the bottom of your car. You can also print on it with a laser type printer. With the short wheelbase this car was hard to tune with BSA wheels, but was pretty easy with the Maximum Velocity wheels. The MV wheels are better quality and cheaper.

I have not run any in competition, but on my track they seemed to do well. I know Murph is a firm believer in them.
