Is it too early? Are you kidding? It is never too early to take a roll call!!!
Three of mine are there now, and one more should be in route by either early next week or by overnight delivery on the Thursday before the race. Probably the later knowing me.
What color are you dyeing the wheels Warren?
Everyone else -- get those cars in.
Best of luck to all.

My first needle mod- "Sappster" Unfortunately, I will not be "live" on the race- out of town on business Saturday- in a meeting all day. However, I'll be sending 3 most likely: Rookie, Stock, & Mod. If someone would text or email me some times during the race- that would be awesome. Any volunteers? P.S. Have a new secret for..axle & lube.... ;D

Brian:
Would it help if I spoke with, or mugged, your boss??? I'm sure Warren could use your help again like last month, and I know all the racers would love to see you there. If it can't be, we'll miss seeing you there.
Best of luck.

I put my 3 cars in the mail last night.
No big changes, just re lubed, realigned and hoped something changed to make them faster.
Brian, I hate to hear that you might not make it this month, because I know you were a big help to Warren last month.
Good luck to all racers.

we will be sending the same 3 we sent last month. limited, stock, mod. no changes to the stock but less graphite. other 2 got small changes will see if it helped or hurt the times.if i had a test track with a timer it would be easy to see if the changes worked or not. maybe that will be next years goal to get a test track. not sure if we will be watching sat. the wifes birthday that day.
good luck to all racers jk racing

Since having Papa Woody fill in as the official starter last month was so nice,(and enjoyed by all) maybe we should have rotating starters? Eveyone has their time in the spotlight! Each builder comes up and acts as the official starter for one month a year. . . . The ones who live in warm climates MUST serve their turns in December, January, or February. ;D

Man, this is getting exciting. Looks like several new builders/cars running this month. "Double TT" (Knotthead) has got a couple of real beauties entered -- my wife asked, "Why can't you build cars that good looking?" And Sappington is back with some of the usual suspects and a great looking new needle axle mod that I'm betting is a real sleeper. Look out Bubba and Dwayne that car looks fast. Unfortunately, "Ice" (my new big axle Mod) did not make my lineup this month. I got side tracked putting together my new track. Nothing fancy. Just a 20' two-lane Best Track (no timer yet). I worked off and on for the past 8 weeks clearing stuff out of the garage, consolidating and organizing, to find a 20' level stretch of concrete that I could put the track on, and I finally did it. Bottom line is that I'll just have my three usual cars there: Wasabi, Tabasco and Senpai.
Less than 24 hours til the green flag. Best of luck to all who take part. See you at the races tomorrow.
