Well Guys, Here is the scoop on me. I am living in South Beloit, IL and work in Beloit, WI.
I am a Continuous Improvement Manager for a large food ingredient firm. I love the company and I love what I am doing. I am pretty much a "change agent" to transform the company's business processes and drive production efficiencies.
Linda and the kids will relocate next May. Until then, I am renting an apartment. The family came up this last weekend and helped me get the apartment set-up and we got to spend some time together.
I do a lot of traveling. I am currently in Dallas, TX until October 19.
I have my track and all my PWD stuff at my apartment. I have no idea how much of the track I can set-up. It will probably be a short track but could be manageable.
I am just so busy with all the transition and traveling. I will look at the schedule and see when I can get back into racing.
In short, I am d**n glad to get out of my old job. I will see when I can get back racing. Note: Before I left, I cut out about 20 new car bodies. However, it does me no good if I am not around to test!
All is good and I will try to stay more connected with PWDR from now on.
Rock On, Murph SLT

Murph,
We all have been wodering about you. When I talk to people on the phone you often come up in conversation. I think I speak for everyone when I say that we all like having you with us! I know that everyone has hoped you would find employment that you enjoy and find challenging.
It is awesome that the family could come up and help you get the apartment setup till they can be with you fulltime. I am sure you can't wait for them to get there and they can't wait to be with you.
It is nice that you have all your derby stuff with you. It will give you something to focus on in your off time. The racers are pushing forward and downward with their times on the track. There have been some new records and some guys that are finding lots of speed. I am thinking that GS1 racing has rookie of the year in the bag, but that needs voted on first. I am thinking that car of the year and builder of the year are still up in the air. The youth racer and female racer of the year are still up in the air. Sky and Mirror are really putting up good arguments as to why they should be the youth racer, but your boy showed some awesome speed in a couple hard classes. We will have to wait and see what they vote turns out.
Please jump in on our conversation about 2013. Your thoughts on the subject will be of great value to us. Getting everyones thoughts is important.

Great to hear about both of you guys ! And Murph, if you brought all of your PWD stuff, that must be filling up your apartment all by itself !! Thinking of that, while you are away I can just pop in there and 'check on a few things' on my way to work ...
