well my oldest son got his Eagle project approved tonight so we can get started on it ;D; now maybe next month my youngest son can get his approved. it's tuff with 2 sons trying to get their Eagle in the same year; when I all through helping them I planning on getting back on the track

I am sure you are a proud dad having two sons going for there Eagle scout. That is a big accomplishment when they get them and I am sure they well. Reflects on their up bring.

You know we certainly like having you racing with us, but we understand the importance of family. I know you are proud of your family and you should be. I have not had a chance to meet your boys, but if the apples fell close to the tree they are both fine upstanding young men.
In other words congrats on them getting to this point and I wish them luck in getting their projects done!

Eagle scout projects are great. My son inspired our neighbor to make a wheelchair accessible picnic table. He donated it to the conservation department park near our home. Enjoy this special time with your boys. You must be very proud.

Thanks; I do enjoy doing things with my boys & passing on some knownage I have learned over the years& time is slipping away they will be grown before I know it so that's why I'm taking a break from racing; weather looks better for tomorrow so we will be at it tomorrow get some more pic.s as things go along

Nice work Ralph. I know you are very proud of your son and I understand you wanting to spend more time with him. You and I had several conversations recently about spending less time pinewood derby racing and more time with our children. Emily is a junior in college and Avery is a senior in high school. I do not want to look back and regret not spending time with them.
