Not taking away from the venders here but I was looking over at V- Max the other day & Randy had some pine blank car blocks for $.95 in inventory clearance a good price I thuoght I got 10 ;D

That's a great deal. They are just blemished blocks that MaxV produces. I was very tempted to pick up 10 or so myself, but I still have a bunch left so I had to fight the addiction. These are full size so you can cut them in half and get 2 for 1. |

I picked up a dozen from Randy last week, cut them in half and made 24 5/16" blocks after running them thru the planer to R & D with. figures out to about 48 cents apiece.
