What changes are we looking at for the 2012 season on rules for the classes and will there be any new classes? I know it's early but time flys thru the holidays so 2012 will be here faster than we think.

There will be some changes and there might be a new class. I am working on something special and have not heard back from a Major Player in it yet. If I do not hear back soon we will make some changes and go from there.
Everything will be announced very soon. The Pure Stock Class is new kind of. I let that out earlier then I had planned, but felt it would be a lot of fun to have a Pure Stock race in Dec. I believe I have listened to what everyone wants and have tried to make the 2012 Championship series unmatched anywhere.

There will be other changes besides the rules. I have been working on this for over 2 months now and will be working on it till the first race of the year. The sponsors will be bigger, prizes better, money prizes, awards, and the classes. I have thought over and worked on each and every thing involved in the league.
As far as the rules go, not much is changing. We have great classes and great racers in the classes.

Evo,
Any specialty races? A few suggestions:
Over 50 Class
You should have an "Over 50 Class". These younger guys seem to be picking up steam and us old guys need a break!
North vs South: Team Approach
Maybe the north vs the south. Leverage that Mason Dixon Line! ;D Now, I am considered a "d**n Yankee" down here!
If you had a north vs the south, you would have to consider Florida in the northern section based on conversations with people in Tennessee. ;D
I probably would be considered to be on the north side of the line by many because of my Fargo accent!
By the way, will Mike and Paul be racing in the Championships?
I always liked listening to Paul talk. The dude is fun to be around. Mike is "class act".

Thanks for your kind comments. Mitchell and I are still not sure if we will be able to make the trip or not. We haven't put a car on the track since June, so I am sure we would get dusted.
We have traded our pinewood derby wheels for running shoes. We ran two 5K's and a 4 miler last month. It is really a lot of fun.
Hopefully, we can dust off a couple of cars and make it for the December race.
