Excellent!
Suggestion: A couple small (< 1") squares of thin balsa wood would make nice mud flaps. I'm thinking either a picture of the Warthog or the classic Yosemite Sam "Back Off" pose with drawn pistols?

Looking good !!! When can we expect a finished product ?? Thanks Lucky, I'm not sure when it will be finished. The above trailer I have been goofing with for about 3 weeks. Here's a photo of the cab in the works: Thanks Bubba, good idea with the mud flaps. I might have to try something there.

Sharp looking cab, even without the paint! Can't wait to see the final products... Gonna have to get back to work on ours or we'll be the "Ugly Duckling" of the crowd

Best looking 16 wheeler I've seen so far! Considerably better finish than my lunch time sample! What are you using for the trailer sides/top?

Thanks Lucky and Warren. Best looking 16 wheeler I've seen so far! Not to worry the racing trailer will have 10 wheels on it ;D This trailer is more just for looks. What are you using for the trailer sides/top? The trailer pictured is all out of the box, so it is pretty heavy -probably around 15-18 oz (haven't even added weight ). All sides are the .25 inch thick hard board.

Best looking 16 wheeler I've seen so far! Not to worry the racing trailer will have 10 wheels on it ;D This trailer is more just for looks. OK, you guys are seriously gonna force me to learn how to paint. I was gonna try to make up for my "aesthetically challenged" Semi with speed and detail, but considering the company I'm in, I'm probably in trouble on those two fronts as well. What are you using for the trailer sides/top? The trailer pictured is all out of the box, so it is pretty heavy -probably around 15-18 oz (haven't even added weight ). All sides are the .25 inch thick hard board. Just between us (shhhhh!), our racing trailer is composed of a simple frame with the "from the box" (modified, of course) trailer chassis block on the back. The frame is modeled after a cargo shipping container trailer i.e. we are making several different boxes that can ride on the trailer frame. We did make one cargo box from the hardboard in the kit (see our Trailer Hinge post), but you are correct in that the frame plus hardboard box is over 15 oz. with no added weight. We'll probably "dress up" (within our limited abilities) the hardboard box, but we're certainly planning to carry a different load (maybe not even a cargo box - shhhhh!) when it comes time for racin' p.s. Looking at the rear view of your trailer again, a thought occurred to me regarding the pwdracing.com logo on the back your trailer chassis block. Would you have the time to modify the logo to commemorate the Big Rig inaugural race or Big Rig Class so that those who chose (we would be interested) could all copy/modify and place somewhere on our own rigs? If not, just posting a JPEG version of the logo you used would be good for us. We're at least considering how we could somehow reference PWDracing.com in the decorations...

Looks pretty good. Can I get the truck a little bigger (or letters a little smaller) for "shrink to fit", and two versions, one facing each direction? Thanks again!

Very Nice.
Thanks!
Unless we can't get it figg'rd out, we'll be putting a "homespun decal" version of those to use on at least one of our rigs.
Thanks again!
