It looks really good 5J's. Thanks ZZ. As I'm sure you understand- photo does it no justice - looks better in person. The green is an dark metallic and the flame is a metallic gold. I spayed one coat of high build primer, two coats of the metallic green, then laid the flame stencil on and sprayed one coat for the flame (Testors one-coat). Topped with two light coats and one heavy coat of Clear. I did make a rookie mistake and didn't verify the weight pocket prior to painting. Realized after it was a bit small so had to do some additional routing AFTER paint. Scratched the paint a bit so I had to buff out. Didn't have any buffing compound so I used a metal polish that I use on my axles. Got rid of the scratches and shined up the finish very nicely. I think this will become part of my painting process

Great looking car 5J's.... I really need to get a nice paint set-up... maybe a Christmas present for myself? Good luck at the Scouter Nationals.
