Got my new stocker and HR ready for their photo op... The stocker is "Scuber-doo", I haven't come up with a name for the HR yet. I'm open to suggestions.

Is the HR only 6 inches long? I can tell from the photo. They are both sharp cars!
Also the "Mystery Machine" might work

Nice HR66. I like your paint job and design. Looks like it was real fun to build. Building a hotrod can be therapeutic. You really get to create your own car. No two are alike 8-)e. Great job.

Nice Cars Steve! What class is the 3 spoker running, not the HR? Good luck with them and tuning on your new track! ;D

Good luck with them and tuning on your new track! ;D It'll run in the Stock class. xjarcher and I have a bit of a grudge match going down this month. We want to pit our best Awana cars against each other so we have to start with stock wheels and axles. I've got some new headless axles I'm trying for the HR. I am enjoying playing with my track and timer setup.

So I spent about 4 hrs tonight tuning Scuber-doo and Slipstream (the HR) on my new homemade track and I learned a couple of things.
One thing was that my lube process takes up to 15 runs to break in and gains up to .012 as it does. It was interesting to be able to put numbers to the process. I was able to gain another .007 through tuning Suber-doo. So I am now .019 ahead of where I would have been without a track to tune on.
Prior to this I was only able to run my cars across a tuning board and set the drift. So I got the stocker as ready as it's gonna get, but am still fighting with the HR.
I also learned that my stop section handles a 5oz car ok, but has a little more trouble with a 6oz car.
