I know I'm 2 months early, BUT...........I wanted to get a jump on this one as it's new to me. Quite a bit different losing 3 ounces and trying to get some MPH! I think this will be a fun speciality race. I will tell you this, when you pick up your car in the stop section, it feels like you left over half of it sitting on the track! Attachments:

Very nice! Where might someone on a extreme budget (myself) get some thin wheels and axles like that?

I had a good friend who lived up in the mountains of NC next door to our cabin. He always kept an eye on the place and also got me different pieces of wood to make the cars from, since he worked at a lumber yard. He would always come down in the fall to deer hunt and would find his way out to the track to watch the cars race. Unfortunately, he passed away two weeks ago at the young age of 49. The last piece he gave me was some Basswood. So I have built my featherlite from the Basswood he gave me and will call it "Gene". I slapped some wheels on it just to get an idea how it's going to look.

Very nice Carolina. I hope "Gene" does well. I'm sure he would be proud of the results! I have a future tribute car planned in memory of my brother coming sometime this year.

Hello Carolina,
I am sorry to hear about your friend passing away and will be praying for you. I am sure that he enjoyed seeing what you did with the pieces of wood that he gave you. Your cars are a true piece of art.'

Real nice, Carolina. I'm sure it will do Gene proud.
This is going to be another fun division to run. When we ran it last year, I think a lot of guys were surprised just how fast you get get a 2oz car to go!

BSB Racing and Carolina Gravity Sports each of your cars are Sharp, nice craftsmanship. Are the cars constructed only to race in Feather Lite division or can additional weight be added for another division?

Couldn't see making one for just one race. I hope PWDR will run that race in the future.
