It's getting to be that time again !! Who's in ?
I'm in, but I'm not sure what I'll have in the race yet ?? My cars just started their journey home from Minnesota yesterday do to the fact I've been out of town. I'm not sure if I'll have time to get them fixed and shipped back in time for this months race ? I just might have to send in a few of my new builds ;D !!

Sorry guys, gonna miss this one. We have District scout race and Reginal RAs(if I beat Cougardog and qualify) that day. I still haven't figured out how I'm going to be in two seperate parts of the state at the same time. I'm sure I won't be able to accomplish that and be on the race chat as well.
Got two more Extreme Pro Mods put together tonight for the RA race. They are both faster than SR71! I'll be sending those in for April.
Till then, good luck next Saturday.

"Xterminator" will be returning in the Stock class. If I get my parts in time I might have a Mod or a Pure Stocker. Either way, It will be named "Xecutioner." ;D

I shipped out 8 cars today !!?? I had boxed up 4 new cars because I wasn't sure if I would be able to get my "regular" cars and shipping container fixed and back to Minnesota in time. Well, the damage wasn't as bad as I thought and I was able to get all the cars back up and running and the box fixed yesterday. I was just gonna ship my "regulars" out this morning, but I figured that I took the time to box the others, I might as well send them all ;D !! So I will have.. Sinister-X (limited) Mutant-X (limited) Hom-Sha-Bom (pure stock) Lestat (pure stock) Heavy Debt (stock) Echoside 2 (stock) Whiplash (modified) Twiztid (modified) On a side note...I know a lot of you have seen the shipping container I built in the "shipping practices" thread. All I can say is, balsa was not a good wood to use for side brackets on the fixtures !! I'm not sure what (or if) i was thinking when I did that ?? I'm actually surprised they didn't break sooner ? They've now all been replaced with nice thick pine and I take back all the bad things I said about the USPS (for now), because this time it was actually all my fault . Lucky 13

I'm not sure what I'll have there. Alastor lost a wheel in the final heat of last month's Limited division race. I haven't had time to repair her, and I don't want to take the risk that it'll happen again and possibly be damaged, so I'll probably hold it out and send my backup -- "Wasabi" -- If I can get it cleaned and lubed in time. Mooberg, Bad Habit and possibly Ron (Modified) will be there.
Good luck to all.

Please try and send the cars early this month. With all of the Cub Scout races I'll be doing I won't have much time to get the cars checked in except on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.
Hopefully it won't be a late start on Saturday - I plan on doing any photos that are still needed after the races on Saturday.

Looks like I won't be attending the race this month Pre-race testing has shown that a sundial could be used to time Wild Willy. So, it's going to be the big splinter pile in the sky for Willy. Oh well, looks like next month for me, folks. Good luck to all, and see you then Lee

Sorry about your situation Lee. I was looking forward to watching Wild Willy scream down the track. I think I also could have been using a sundial this weekend at our PWD. The dreaded alignment issue. I think jayjayrocketman and I are shooting for April or May for our first entries. Hope to see you then.

Hey Guys,
No pressure, but unless you are already testing on a 42' Best Track, sending your cars in, even when you know they won't perform well, is one way to gage whether the changes you make are having the desired effect. Don't be afraid to race and not be competitive. That is one very good way to get competitive.

OK, the final line up for me is: Mooberg in Pure Stock, Wasabi in Limited, Bad Habit in Stock, and Ron in Modified. I'm holding Alastor out for repairs.
Sorry Warren, but I was not able to ship Wasabi and Ron early, they went out by Express Mail earlier today, and should be there tomorrow. Any update on the start time on Saturday?
Good luck to all.

So far I have confirmed that there is only the league race on Saturday so start time will be around 1PM CENTRAL. . . The only way that will change is if I somehow got the entire group wrong and someone from the correct group calls me at noon and asks "When are you going to get here?" -- talk about a nightmare situation!

Well after it was all said and done I sent in three cars. In Pure Stock- Burned Too, Stock- Stripes, and Mod will be Bird. It will be hard for me to keep up with Proquest if he keeps sending in more cars then me.
