I see that you somehow come up with a calculation of speeds that are in the hundreds of miles/hour. Since the realtime speeds are around 9 to 10 miles/hour, how do you calculate these speeds and what is the purpose?

I'm not sure of the purpose though ? Lucky 13

Actually the MPH is just an "Amusement" value/estimate - the kids can identify with that being BIG where as the actual seconds is sort of meaningless to them.
