I am pleased to show a couple of my new cars. My son and I are having a blast building cars. The one on the right is an old car and I thought it was great till I saw some of your guy's cars. The other three are cars that I am working on. I just wanted to show off some new paint. I want to give a big thanks to Lucky13, Derbydoc, Docb, Mr. Reed, and a few others for answering all my questions and helping me out. With a little luck I will be as fast as you guys are. Let me know what you think of these.

Great looking cars Steve !! I really like the green one with the tribal design on it. Looks like the new airbrush is working out good for you. I look forward to seeing them on the track !! Lucky 13

They look fast! ;D Do I see some Da Pine Racing influence in the pink car. Green seems to be a fast color around here.(ie Wasabi, Groovie Greenie, Sushi). Hope to see them on the track soon! ;D Scott Beakerboys

Very nice indeed!!! Terrific airbrush work.
But I'll bet you see a big improvement in speed when you put axles and wheels on them. Get um dun, and send um in. ;D

I am hoping to have a car to send in for Dec., my son is very busy with sports right now and I do not have a test track. I have been looking for a used track, but have not found one. I am thinking I will have to put out for a new 35 ft Best track and timer.
I have really gotten into building these. I purchased the new airbrush and it is working out good so far. I still have to clear coat them and hope not to mess up the finish there. That has always been when my finish goes to crap. With all the help I have gotten I hope that they will be close in speed to your guys cars.
I believe that I will have cars for the pure stock and limited classes next year. I might even throw on the Razor wheels and send one in.
I hope to paint another one today and have something else to show. My son and I are in different stages of building about 15 car bodies. I do not have the wheels and axles for all of them, but we are having a blast just making the bodies.

The green car is painted pearl green with transparent blue over it. I will admit that this design is based closely on a Derbymaster car. It is slightly different, but not to much.
The pink car was not pink in the bottle. It was a poorly cut car that I just wanted to practice painting on.
The blue car is pearl blue and I am very proud of the design. I am not sure what stripe or design to put on it. I am hoping this car is fast as it was hard to cut.

The cars look outstanding. I'm like you, the cars look great until I put on the clear and then every dust bunny in the universe will find it. I hope to correct that problem when Santa Clause brings me a hobby spray booth this year. I've been a good boy. ;D

Well we have a bunch of cars underway, but a good bit of those are not going to be any good as my son is learning to do things and there is a little waste going on. LOL.
