We would run this class if it were offered. I know ProQuest was interested. This is an excellent opportunity to get some racers in that can run on a budget and let their talents take over.
ProQuest and Sporty would be two great examples. Both of these racers would be in the mix if this class was offered in some fashion.

thanks Murph.
Ya, I been suggestion for a few years now. that a scout geared class, would bring many more scouts to race.
The rules even in pure stock, ect. is to allowing, that is just confuses most people. simple is the way to go. stock bsa axles, grahite only, no oils, waxes, teflons ect, allowed. stock wheels. heck right out of the box, no work to be done on the outside ! only bore prep !
I get it, to go faster , allow more options. but to me, pure stock is just that, pure stock. Stock is like nascar these days, nothing stock about them.
I've just heard tha entries been down and, it takes allot of time and effort for people to put on this race and they dont make much if any on it.
So, to me, the most logical, is to get the numbers back ! and the only way thats going to happen, is if there is a simple, pure stock class. that is actually a stock class.
My racing days are done. pretty sure of that. but I dont mind gettng the word out and helping scouts, get into sending there cars off, 4 something like that ! Theres just nothing pure stock, about the 2013 pure stock rules. I know, its been like that 4 ever. I just hope that changes.

When "Tune-Spec" was ran at PWDR, I was not competitive. "Pure" Pure Stock Class would put the fastest racers on an even level with novice/intermediate racers. This would be a great class, even if it was offered on an intermittent basis. Murph

I thought the best idea was the break out class. You could run anything you want as long as it didn't hurt the track. The idea was to be as close to a time as possible without going over aka breaking out.
This allowed people to run their set ups and still be competitive.
