It certainly is funny how we all meet and the friendships that are formed. I am proud to say that I have friends in almost every state because of pinewood derby. I enjoy chatting via the Internet and phone with them.

Murph so I strapped Blake in truck in his car seat and off we when. Very cool story Terry! It takes a brave man to take an 11 month old anywhere. I remember taking my son in the little "baby hauler thingy" shopping at all hours of the morning. I had him in a Super K at 4 am one time. He was such a good baby, it wasn't bad taking him along.

Cool story Terry I remember years ago when my boys where young & when my job at work was the excavator operator at work my wife & boys came by my job site. Them being boys & excited to see daddy & his big machine I let them sit in my lap & work the levers & making the excavator move something they have never forgot. ;D

I enjoy chatting via the Internet and phone with them. So, how did I meet Evolution? When I arrived at my 1st National event in Somerset, KY; I met Bob Hardwick for the first time at the check in table. I didn't bring any blocks to sit my cars on, so he pointed out Steve and said he may be able to help. Steve, had a fleet of amazing cars including racers and very special show cars on his table. When I explained my dilemma Steve immediately moved his show cars off the blocks and into boxes freeing up a couple of sections of his best track stopping section car holders for me to put my cars on. Wow, what a great person. How many people would do that for a total stranger? MWD
