This is nuts!! After making the first cut of the block for my yellow racer (see Getting ready for April pictures), I set that piece aside with the intent of discarding it, but after getting the yellow car to the sign maker for graphics, I looked at the scrap piece of wood and thought "Why not make a car out of that!". Here I am, 60 yrs. old, with two real hotrods in the garage (one under constuc- tion), and I'm being consumed by wooden race cars . Anyway, that scrap is gonna be a Modified racer . I've got some RS wheels coming, as well as some tungsten. As you see it, its' weight is .92oz, so it will be carrying lots of "baggage" Lee

I hear ya Lee, Got 2 hot rods in the garage and one of them hasn't even been touched yet, and here I am trying to get a mod ready for April also.
Your new mod looks real awesome so far. Looking forward to see it run. Good luck with it.

Double T:
That is one of the coolest cars I've seen. I know they say you can't judge a book by its cover, but boy, does that look fast. Best of luck with it.

Lee:
That is truly stunning. Plenty of time between now and the April 12th race to get her finished and mailed in. Best of luck.
