Thanks, everyone....it WAS a great day, as I had a chance to spend it with my son up in the mountains of Western Pennslyvania with my parents....very relaxing! However, I did get my birthday present a day early when my son won his second consecutive District race. His car was the only one to post sub 3.0 times (2.990 fastest) of all Scouts racing that day. Competition was pretty stiff, as there were several cars that were "league worthy", as well as some that had league influence directly (Ganggreen and X-Ring...great to see you there!!). Congrats out to X-Ring, who stepped it up a few notches this year, and finally beat out a very tough line-up from our Pack....they will be GUNNING for you at Council! The car has an HOK silver to green color shift base, with HOK red-blue color shift flames. The "Paint Ninja" gave me all of the tips on getting this done, and I think we did a decent job for a first try, with hopefully more top-end paint jobs to come. Our Council allows oil, so the new DD4H process really put us over the top! Once May closes out, I hope to run the Summer Series. My son wants to come down and race....maybe you'll see this car turned into a Limited! Thanks, again, Nick Attachments:

Nah....we just throw the cars on the garage shelf and wait for the next race ... ;D ;D ;D Yes, our Pack is a tough one, and you should come by for our Pack race next year....it's quite an elaborate operation....and some of the tightest racing you will ever see outside of league racing! Our Pack finals had a spread of only .05 seconds between first and 10th place, which is very tight for Scouts. And yes, our Pack did take home 7 of 12 trophies, and qualified 10 of the 16 spots for the Council Race....Pack workshops with the right instructor can make for a very fast "team" All I can say for the Council Race is "BRING IT!"....I know our boys will!
