New limited - Team Car - I made one similar for the Scouter Nationals liked the design so I built a new one for PWDR. Bit of a struggle tuning this one - we'll see this weekend

ha - I picked up four 3-foot pieces for just over $2, so I have a ways to go - lol.
This one uses your suggested roller vice the beads I used on Jackal and Habanero.

I'm thinking there is a whole conversation about guide pin/roller/whatever that we are not having here...

That DOM wheel should stay on the rail. In essence, a properly set-up car should not require a guide pin. Still, you get in the wrong lane and your car gets moved by the car next to you, you just might need that pin! My cars have gotten blown away in certain lane situations. That is racing!

A poorly placed or designed peg in the stop section is definitely a car killer. At the PWDR where there are sides to each stop section it is fine and you car at least stays confined. I have to place blankets around my stop section.

Yes, I got some wild concept cars right now. They are very stable but have limited run time. I will be posting some more information on these cars shortly.
Once you look at the design, you will immediately say "That car will never make it through the stop section". Remarkably, the cars have no problem.
I will flip one over and show the design. If you guys try it I would appreciate feedback on performance.
Right now, the design creates a weird sound on the arc of the incline. The car is not swerving. Something going on that I don't understand.
