Just a quick reminder everyone. When building/racing a 3 wheeled car here at PWDRacing.com...
A. You must have some kind of "peg" to replace the missing wheel.
B. It must be functional, meaning that it must be mounted solid on the car and it must extend low enough that if the car gets out of control it will catch the center rail.
C. It must be constructed out of a material that will not damage the track or track surface. If you do use metal, it needs to be covered with tape, tubing or something that will keep the metal from contacting the track if something happens.
We seen several cars at the last proxy race that had loose pegs or pegs that where so high that they where above the center rail. I will be checking cars each month to make sure they meet the above requirements. If they don't, they won't race. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but I don't want to see other racers cars damaged or the track damaged because of a faulty "peg".
Thanks for your understanding !!
