While others were racing I was attempting first non scout build. I am starting with a pro-stock build. I'm sure this design is popular(extended, slotted FDW, and raised wheel), but wanted to start without canting. Ease my way in. Any tips or help is greatly appreciated. Dave

Dave,
Good looking car !! One suggestion I would make is to look into some 1 gram BSA wheels or a set of the DerbyWorx SS wheels. You will have a very hard time competing in the stock class without lightened wheels. Outside of that, I think you are off to a great start and it sounds like you have the basics covered. Good luck with the build. I look forward to seeing it on the track.

Lucky 13- Thanks! I do have a set of BSA Extreme PRO Speed Axles and a set of Official BSAPro Ultra LiteSpeed Wheels that will be installed for race. I noticed on this site that some builders use different wheels when taking pictures of the work in progress. I am now working on a pure stock. I just can't stop!

Hey Slope, nice ride!!
I use the Pro Ultra Lites and like 'em. A little more pricey than the Derbyworx wheels, though. Be interesting to see if we'll have some colored Ultra Lites soon
Later...
