I have to say that the evolution is still going strong. I played around in the garage today and had several ideas to try. After playing around with the ideas, I was able to build a body that was only 10 grams. I am sure I could have gotten it to 8 grams, but why push it. This was done without balsa just a pine body. This allowed me to place the com just were I wanted it. I am hoping that the April race with see this car. Thats providing that I do not mess up the paint, drop it, comes off the track, it runs well, and a whole lot of other things.
I have played around with the rail riding tool and I hope that this brings this car to a new level for me. This will be the first car that gets an axle bent with the rail riding tool.
I just thought I would share with everyone as I was so happy with this body, the lowest I have gotten one before this was around 16 grams. I broke that one, opps.
