So, you cut the front fenders out of wood? Were you using balsa? Did you just trace the wheel for a pattern and cut a little bigger?

I just used a piece of wood from a old basket my wife had. and glued it on the side of the car shaped it by using a belt sander. no pattern just free hand the car came to life as i was making it. it was for my son. He won all 8 heats. first place; best of coolor; best of show. was our first time.
