Ok, how would we define a pinewood derby track for the sake of determining the record holders? Most lanes? Longest? Tallest? Fastest? Slowest? anything else? Got some new photos on the Goliath track on the DerbyTalk thread. derbytalk.com/viewtopic.php?t=3582

Ok, how would we define a pinewood derby track for the sake of determining the record holders? Most lanes? Longest? Tallest? Fastest? Slowest? anything else? IMO, the only things that really matter are number of lanes, length and starting pin height. However, for length, it should be measured from the starting pins to the finish line. If no cars are able to finish, then it should be measured from the starting pins to the furthest distance that any car was able to attain. Mr Slick - Fasten all of your tracks together side by side and you would likely have the world record for most lanes.
