Here is Sky Racing and me doing one of our other favorite things. This picture is from a ride in NH. It was the greatest ride I have ever taken. We picked the bike up in NH and took it to Niagra, then back to Ohio. Sky got to see the falls for the first time and sharing the ride with him was like no other. He loves riding motorcycles with me as well as jetskis. He is a great kid that I hope a lot of you get to meet at Bluegrass this year.

Glad to met ya, Goat. Have you got Dad involved with this yet, or is he the one that got you started?
You should give him a piece of wood to carve

I am on my hubby's lap top, so I don't really have any pics of me to post(I am usually the one taking the pictures and not posing for them). Well, here is our wedding picture.... Teresa "ScoutMom"

BTW... I am the one in the wedding dress. LOL! Oh, and cool pics, guys! Love the car, Knotthead. Sky Racing-- awesome bike and super cute kid!Goatboy-- you and your dad are looking good. "Goatboy" was the nick name of my hubby when we first got married, because his family gave us goats for a wedding present. I am partial to the name "GoatBoy"!
It's nice seeing everyone's pictures! FUN!!!

I have never touched a PWD car till about 2 weeks ago. I am a machinist and a guy at work asked me if I would help him with his son's PWD car for their upcoming derby. I said I would but had no clue about it. I decided to check out the web and was instantly hooked when I seen this was not just for scouts So now I am trying to learn as much as I can and hopefully have 2 cars ready for the April proxy race. Everyone on here has been so great at helping me along. It's really great to see this kind of a positive community with all the negative stuff going on around the world right now. As for my father, he is turning 60 this year and he still drag races his 1970 Oldsmobile Rallye 350 all summer long. I do most of the machining for the car and he does all the racing Here is a pic of him in action. Ian

Ahh, a man after my own heart. I'll be 62 this year and I just started pinewood last year!! Yeah, this league racing is definitely beyond scout racing. If I can get away from these little monsters for awhile, I hope to finish, or at least get on the road, this project; Hey Mom, thanks for the pic. I had assumed it was you in the dress, but you never know... We live in a strange time You're right, Ian, this is a nice community of folks, even if it resides in cyberspace Lee

Knotthead, Nice Falcon, too bad it's a FORD!!!! ;D Just kidding. I'm a Chevy guy but for some reason I own two Fords as well as two Chevys. Here is what I try to spend my kid's college money on. I have had this car since I was 15 (35 now) so I am more attached to this thing than say perhaps the wife!!! Currently I have the engine out of it, putting in a new rear end, exhaust, brakes, wheels and tires, 10 pt roll cage, and rebuilding the front end. I have drag raced this car off and on since I turned 16. It ran 11.70's when I parked it. With the new engine and parts, high 10's will be next. The fun never stops! I always thought PWD is what drag racers did in the off season???

I forgot to put my face with a name! I got caught up with the car thing. Anyway, here I am with two of my four boys at our latest pack race. I guess we probably should of had our Scout shirts on instead of those T-Shirts.

Well, I'm not very pretty so I'll post a photo of my oldest son, Wes(aka Slick Jr.) and his Opel. The Opel is sitting in my garage waiting for a new fuel tank and throttle linkage. . . . if only I knew how to do it. . . I haven't found a shop around here that is willing to do the work due to "liabilities" . . . whatever.

It's awesome to see you guys with your cars. My dads Oldsmobile was purchased brand new in 1970 by him. He has had that car longer than he has had me While growing up I know there were moments where he enjoyed that car way more than me I think it's a great story though. He has never sold it and he never will! He did put it up in storage for 15 years to support my 2 brothers and myself while we traveled the country racing national level BMX racing. Anyway, here is a pic of the engine on his 1970 Olds. Hope you enjoy!
