Hey Folks:
I just ran my first PWDR Saturday. It was great. I can't wait to get back to work on my car to try to make it faster (I finished 10th overall in the stock class).
So that brings me to a question for you vets.
The scenario is...
You build a new car for PWDR.
You take care with axle prep, wheel prep, canting, RR alignment, etc...
You test and time the car on a test track... over and over.
You tweak it... over and over.
You "THINK" you have a very fast car (the fastest you ever built)
You send it in to PWDR
You finish 10th overall in your class.
You get your car back in the mail.
You know the car is built well... but you must somehow make it faster.
So, do any of you have a standard process that you go through after you get you car back?
If you think you've done all you can already, how do you proceed to make you car faster?
Do you start by experimenting with fine alignment adjustments?
Try to polish and lube more/better?
Scrap axles/wheels and start over?
Chang you alignment philosophies?
Rethink your weight distribution?
I truly appreciate any advice.
Thanks!!!
