There wasn't a lot to do during the ice storm, so I took some time to finish up a new Pure Stock and Modified that I had started. Hopefully the weather will warm up here soon so I can get some track time !!

Josh, The wheels on the second car are DerbyWorx RS wheels that I purchased at www.derbydoc.com . They are nice wheels and very fast. The RS wheels (razor wheels) make it a lot easier to build a fast car. Lucky 13

how so does it make it easier? easier to assemble? Josh, The RS wheels are only 1 gram each, compared to a machined BSA wheel that weighs around 3.2-3.3 grams. The lighter wheels need less energy to get them moving. This helps the car pick up more speed on the hill, which leads to faster times on the flat. Lucky 13

Nice cars Bob, as usual. Never a dull moment with your colors and graphics.
I think you're even more prolific than Beaker this year!

I think I'm starting to enjoy painting the cars as much as racing them ?? I definitely may be on a pace to surpass Beaks builds last year. How many did you build last year Beak ? I had actually decided to take a break and slow down some, that was until my new "Lucky 13" bodies arrived from Andy Lester. I let them sit on my desk for a few days and then I couldn't stand it anymore, I had to start working on them. They just look way to cool to be sitting there collecting dust ;D !! So, I'm back in the building business again...lol !! Lucky 13
