This is my youngest son Jacobs car for this years derby. It still needs a clear coat but its starting to look pretty good.

WOW! Nice ride Sarge. ;D It appears you've been paying attention. You've got the #1 key ingredient for speed...GREEN PAINT. If your name is Steve I'm gonna quit. It looks great. Good Luck to you guys at the races.

Sarge, that is a beauty. Welcome to the board.
Looks to me like your son chose to go with Derbydoc flame stencils. And I love the color contrast.
It appears as though the right side of the car is the dominant? by the look of your "notch"?
Great Job!!!

Hey Sarge,
You and Jake did an awesome job on that one. We'll be pulling for you the race. Please let us all know how it goes. Best of luck.

Beautiful! That one sure looks like a winner!!! My son's car is green, too (his favorite color), but it is a lighter shade green. Ethan was thinking about doing gold flames, but those red/orange ones look really great! Good luck at the Derby!!!

We used minwax polyurethane in the spray can. It works great over duplicoler. It says on the can to spray from 12 inches away but that is to close. It seems to create small air bubbles. We just stand back two feet or so and it usually goes on pretty good.
