Really great looking new cars everyone What time are we starting today and what viewing method...yahoo messenger? Good Luck to Everyone- especially newcomers and new cars!!! The races start around 1 pm central time. I think Warren is going to try the new PWDR channel at www.mogulus.com/pwdracing to see how it is. If it looks good, we will use it for the race, if not, we will be doing it the same way we have been doing it (through Warren web cam). Make sure you are signed in and available on Yahoo IM. Lucky 13

Well, I finally got the DVD finished late last night. This is an actual DVD that you put in the DVD player and can watch on the big screen! If your player has the frame-by-frame feature you can enjoy over 20,000 frames of race excitement otherwise it is about 12 minutes long. . . . why does it take us 3 1/2 hours to create the material for a 12 minute video? I will be making copies of the DVD for all of the builders and packaging with the cars tonight. They should all be headed home tomorrow! Thanks for your patience and a great year at the races! 2008 was Great, but 2009 will be Fine!

Uff Da! Went to a Lutefisk lunch today and it was great! The best joke at our table was when one of the people asked for some "Fresh Lutefisk" since our serving plate had run out. ;D There were several laughing out loud at that. Anyway, the cars are all packed and ready for labels. I got DVDs of the December races in the boxes too! Merry Christmas! I will now start the weighing and printing of postage so they will hit the Post Office tomorrow morning. . . . about as late as I have ever been. . . sorry. BTW, does anyone want to switch out the transmission on a 1992 Dodge Dakota 4x4?

from wikipedia: (I added the bold effect. . .)
Lutefisk is made from air-dried or salted/dried whitefish (normally cod, but ling is also used), prepared with lye, in a sequence of particular treatments. The watering steps of these treatments differ slightly for salted/dried whitefish because of its high salt content. The first treatment is to soak the stockfish in cold water for five to six days (with the water changed daily). The saturated stockfish is then soaked in an unchanged solution of cold water and lye for an additional two days. The fish will swell during this soaking, attaining an even larger size than in its original (undried) state, while its protein content decreases by more than 50 percent, producing its famous jelly-like consistency. When this treatment is finished, the fish (saturated with lye) has a pH value of 11–12, and is therefore caustic. To make the fish edible, a final treatment of yet another four to six days of soaking in cold water (also changed daily) is needed. Eventually, the lutefisk is ready to be cooked.
=========== Fun fact: due to the contact with lye and the pH during preparation. . . ===========
