Docb, look under 2008 rules and I believe it is1.G. Basically the wheelbase has to be between 4 3/8 and 4 1/2 inches, no more no less, and wheels directly across from each other.

There has been an update to the Hot Rod 66 rules. Please take a moment to check it.
To Dapine and Go Bubba Go, Thank you both for the continued support of the Hot Rod 66 class. I apologize for all the confusion since the 2008 rules came out. We hope the changes clear things up. "Time Fighter" and "Green-T are both excellent cars and we are glad to have them as part of the Hot Rod 66 class !! If I get off my lazy butt and finish "Suzy-Q" she'll be joining you in January !!

I could also have a HR66 in January - if I get a new dremel for Christmas. Only been working on it for - - - well, shall we say forever. . . I have a 7" long version that had some damage to fenders but don't want to cut an inch out of it.
