It's 4:15 a.m. Central on Thursday September 11th, and I just finished boxing my cars for Saturday. I'll send them by Express mail, and with any luck they will arrive at Warren's on Friday.
The lineup includes two Limiteds, one Stock and one Modified.
I'm afraid that with a major hurricane heading right for me, my power may be out on Saturday, and I will miss the race. If so, I may hit one of you guys up by phone to give me the blow-by-blow. Best of luck to all.
Steve H.

OK, I'm heading to the post office now. I converted Saske & Fuego Rojo to 3 wheel on one side (one of my BGN lessons). I didn't get to spend a ton of time tuning but think that I was able to shave at least .010 of each.
In with 3: Limited, Stock & Pro-Mod

Where I live is 70 miles inland. We'll get lots of wind and rain, but not like if we lived near the water. In the immortal words of Winnie the Pooh -- "It's going to be a blustery day." Thanks for the concern, but we will be fine. Steve H.

Tonight: (9pm Central status update) 0. Ate supper - not on original list but done! 1. Work on retrofit of the electronic start to fit on the 3 lane track -- parts removed from 6 lane track that was at the storage locker. -- parts and electronics associated with it packed in van. (will put on track tomorrow when it is up) 2. Build new levelers for the 3 lane track (the posts are now on the 6 lane track. ) Making sure to remember the extended stop section too! -- purchased material to construct the levelers (still need to cut/drill/thread the 12 parts - 4 holes each, 2 threaded) 3. Car check-in/tech/photo -- upload raw photos -- photo area set-up (normally takes about 10 minutes per car . . . only 6 cars per hour to unpack, check-in, tech, photo, and re-pack) (camera memory card being erased to make room as I type!) (need to get batteries . . . it's dark enough that flash is needed - may wait until tomorrow AM.) 4. check out computer options - wanting to use new computer for the race with the newer video interface. (yea, right - maybe next month!) 5. sleep if the sun is still down. (I WILL get some sleep so I can get everything done tomorrow!) I expect that the racing will start around 3PM EASTERN/2PM CENTRAL/1PM MTN/Noon PACIFIC . . . just a hunch that things will take longer than expected tomorrow - just like tonight!

Points are updated to reflect the September Proxy Race !! There are some tight point races going on and I'm sure they will go right down to the final race of 2008. Current and previous record holders have been updated. Congrats to Mad Max Racing (Novice) and ProQuest Performance (Stock & Modified) on their new track records !! I'd also like to welcome "Nerve Racing" and congratulate him on his first proxy race. "Nerve Racing" is "TT Racings" son. Welcome to PWDR !!
We had a 41 car field for the September Proxy Race and some fantastic racing. Congrats to all the division winners !! I'm looking forward to the October 4th race already.
DON"T FORGET THE "PICK-UP TRUCK" RACE IS GOING TO BE HELD IN NOVEMBER !! THERE IS STILL TIME TO BUILD ONE AND GET IN ON THE FUN !!
Thanks Everyone,
Lucky 13
