Those are some cool cars you guys have! Superhero cars are guaranteed to be fast. The trophies are the nicest, and biggest I've ever seen. I hope you guys brought a wagon to use to get them out to the car. Great job.

Well, another scouting derby season is in the books. It was a good year for the LightninBoy clan ...  Included in the above is a first place council trophy (Lions) and a second place council trophy (Webelos I). The webelo I car (gold car) was built new for the council race. But the photo above proved costly in many ways. After taking the photo I was distracted for a few minutes and the gold car rolled off the table. In the photo below you only see a chipped fender, but underneath the wood strip where the axles go was split in multiple places. So this car was one and done.

BTW - Looks like this will be done in time for the June race. This is the X3 and its racing in the Stock division at PWDR and the Street Stock division at the National Championships in July ....
