I have my old scout PWD car and want to rebuild it. Need a set of CMI wheels to complete it. PM me with how much you want for a set.
Thank you,

They are the wheels supplied with the Scout kits from about 1977 to 1988. Here is a link to an article on the history of the Scout Pinewood Derby Kit.

According to the history, the CM1 wheels were made by the parent company of Beta Crafts. So, is it possible that these wheels are still being made? I don't know, but it might be worth sending an email to the company and asking. Those would have been the same kind my car had the one time I got to do pinewood derby as a kid, so I'm curious about this as well. See: shop.betacrafts.com/EZ-Derby-Race-Kit-2006.htm

I have not been able to find them for sale by any company. I was able to get some from a member on another forum. My guess would be that when CMI (now Beta Crafts) lost the BSA contract they got rid of the molds. I can't say for sure but that would be my guess.
