Since there was a holiday today, we may have a delayed start on Saturday to make sure we have all the cars.
If you ship your box by tomorrow, it should reach me by Friday. If for some reason I do not post that I have your box by Friday, please contact me.

okay - I got four cars reprepped for the January race. Bill - Pure Stock Lemon Lime II - Limited Nidhoggr - Limited Jackal - Stock. Lemon-Lime II was slow so I reprepped and made it slower . I'll send it in anyway and see how it goes on the PWDR track. The other cars seemed to be going pretty good. I added a bit more steer to Bill - so hopefully he stays stable. Still right on the edge with this car though. Didn't get my mod done - so I still have that to work on for another month ;D

I will walk through the snow here in Seattle this morning to the post office with two cars: Orange Crush (Pro Mod) and My Concept (HR66).
No new cars this month as my Pure Stock that I made in December is too darn slow! Can't figure out why. I have trued both USA and Chinese sets of wheels, and balanced them. Bores reamed to .0995". Neither set is giving me speed! Weight is 5.03 oz and COM is 0.55". The car is very stable on the track. No joy with various drift settings! Even tested different axel diameters. Rear wheels run neutral - that is they stay on the axel heads running forward and back! Positive front wheel cant and negative rears. I can't get less than 3.000 seconds on my track, which I would predict would be about 2.98 on the PWD Best Track. All of this with Krytox K100 oil. I suspected a track problem so ran my control car and that was running as usual. So, not sure what to do next - any ideas?

And if its that stable, can you lighten the drift even further or go a little more aggressive on COM ? Just throwing out something.

I have very little experience with BSA wheels. I used smaller reamers but the taper didn't clean up until I got to the 0.0995 diameter. I thing the .55" COM is very aggressive, and I tried a big range of drifts and sill got slow times. ?

I did not have time to send in any cars. I tried to find time but failed. I am in the middle of a hard start-up right now. I never got a chance to do much work on my cars past cutting some new bodies. Guess I will have to dig myself out of a hole in February. Back to work. Murph

Maybe that will help with your build. I put it in the "pro help" section....
