I personally like to run no fenders as the builds are quicker for me. I have seen fast cars that have them and fast ones that don't. If all things were equal I think the fenders would be faster, but rarely is everything equal.

I am working on some new designs for PS that should hopefully (really) mess with the cars to the right of me. ;D I run right DOM. Also, the design might allow me to run less drift.
As always, most of my ideas don't work but I willl keep trying!
I cut the car on the mill last night and will post when I get it cleaned-up a bit.
I am probably moving away from some of my oil work and getting into car design and weight placement. I have lots of opportunities here.
Fenders are a bear when you are trying to work on a car. I got two fender cars: Evo Time and SLT-F1.
SLT-F1 is going through some major modifications right now. I had the car running close to SLT-1.2 and Trophy Wife before mods. Hoping for more with the changes.

For cars being raced in 2012 the majority will not have fenders. However there are two separate car designs with fenders currently under construction at this time. A 1950's MGA Roadster and a LeMans.

Folks are saying fenders protect you from biggger cars on the track when you are in the center lane...
For weight design I wish for a weight the size of a BB that weighed 4 ounces... Not possible but I can wish...

Nice to see ya over here W. Give us some more input about your ideology. It would be cool if you would race with us. You know what you are doing and you would compete right away! Murph

Like you, my ideas do not always pan out, but at least if they don't, I know of one more thing that didn't work. ;D
I am working on a new weight/axle mount system with built in cant...........if it works, it will be slick...........if not..........well at least I gave it a shot!
