Shade,
That's a great question. The material is a different material then what other vendors has offered. The groove is different then what other vendors have offered too. This combination should make the axle stronger then what has been offered by other vendors.
These axles will also be very consistent from axle to axle. When the prototypes were measured they varied a maximum of .0002 between all of them. They are very strait and consistent.

You guys know I more than anyone want these to come to the store. I have a great deal of time and energy into making these, but I will not bring a product to market that I am unsatisfied with. That being said I am trying to make sure these are ready for the 2012 season.

Evolution,
Is pricing available for these axles? Would be interested in Stainless steel 93s and Needle axles.

Final pricing has not been set yet. The final price will be between $9.95 and $14.95, at this time I can not offer more then that. I will be getting a price on the titanium axles, but expect it to be to much to bring to market.

Again I do not know the pricing but I know Titanium axles will be much much more then $14.95. The stainless axles will be priced between $9.95 and $14.95. The titanium axles will be much more.
I do thank you guys for being patient with me on these. I have worked very hard to bring these to market. I wanted to make sure the axles were just right before I released them. I did not want to release a product that I felt was not the best.

Evolution,
Will each set of the stainless steel axles be sold polished and race ready? Or will some prep work be required?

They will not be sold polished and race ready. This is because most guys have their own way to prep their axles. These axles will require very little work to be race ready as the finish is great.
