I could really use some car talk right now....
Last night I ripped off the lifted wheel fender off my pure stocker and made it a Limited and re-tuned it. I ran times from 2.914-2.966 last month... unreal right? I was all over the place! I got it dialed in and I hope it does better this month.
I also built a new mod, but I can't get one to run faster than my current mod. arrghhh.... Hopefully I get another pro-stock and pro-mod together to back-up my current cars.
BSB are you bringing anything worth sending down the track?

I've got to try to find something with my Stocker.
I am thinking of trying a new body and reprep of the wheels.

I am trying to find the time to finish my HR66 and another car for this month. I might even get in on some of the Mills-Craft Pro action.

Well, don't get me started What I want to build and am building are 2 different subjects. I hope to get a mod built and ready for pwdr this month. I also hope to build one with my son for him also so we can add a class to race in. Can't afford new parts right now so one will have vendor wheels courtesy of a coupon I won at WIPR and the other will be running some home made BSA jobs. I made them last night as the 1st project on my new drill press. I have a HR66 in my future, but that might not get built anytime soon. I also hope to prep some new wheels for one of my limited's and either make a new stocker or get my other limited faster as a stocker. Which also means testing with lightened wheels and washers.

X,
PM me your address, I think I have some extra mod wheels around that I can spare a set. These will be Derby Worx wheels, they might be RS or RSX wheels. I am not sure what I have of what right now, but I know I have some. I might even have a special one off set with teflon inserts that you can use.

Tribology: Radical Bore and Axle Preparation, radical lubrication ideology. I have found some enablers. It is completely wild but have not put it on the track yet. 90% of my ideas don't work. But I keep trying. Someday...... I am going to find that 0.010 seconds.... Someday.... Limiteds: under 2.90 seconds, Stockers: under 2.88 seconds Note: There are a couple of racers that are absolutely smokin' in the proxy leagues. My guess is that they are not using the standard process that most of us are currently using. Murph

Well my Limited is a short wheel base car and I considered for a moment about extending the wheel base to match what the top cars are at. Then I watched the video and saw she ran smooth and straight. Didn't seem to go to the rail to fast or too slow. So that means the Rubic's Cube Lube process I pulled out of my, uh umm, seems to need a small amount of tweaking. I did notice from the video that she finished each pass strong, but lacked a little get up and go down the hill. Maybe I used too much of my oil in the process and the warmth of the oil on the flats allowed the car to do as it was told to do. Perhaps I will just reprep and go a little easy on the sauce. Do you have access to a track there? You could always try different stages to see if you can get more off the hill? That has always worked for me. Every once in a while, you get that car that wants to be staged weird to run it's fastest.

Sounds like I better get out to the shop and look for some speed, working on four new cars. Attachments:
