i looked at some of those also, but i need mine almost daily at work, thats how i damaged it. where i work if it breaks at work work buys ya new one.....the boss didnt complain too much about the price ;D bri

This thread makes me want to add another item for people to spend money on  We use a setup like this www.use-enco.com/CGI/INSRIT?PMAKA=625-8511&PMPXNO=2603497&PARTPG=INLMK3 which includes a dial indicator and comparator stand for only $30, along with a pin gage and a set of V-blocks to check wheel out-of-round. This is no-name Import stuff, not name brand like the SPI one mentioned above, but its worked well for us. Also, ENCO is offering free shipping for orders over $50, at least I had seen a very recent on that.

I will get a picture up, or will ask my buddy Sporty to do that. Nothing too fancy to it. What we have is a take-off on what Pinewood Daddy showed in DT years ago.
