Brian,
Have you looked at the Micro-lux drill press. It is what I have and I suggest looking at them before buying.

I like the Proxxon because it comes equipped with collets. The micro-lux is less money but once you factor in the price of the collets it becomes a wash.... I have the proxxon tbm 115. I purchased it at a local woodcraft store www.woodcraft.comStore may be hazerdous to your wallet if you look around.

Steve, which micro-lux do you have? there are 2 listed. I have the high grade micro-lux it was on sale cheaper than the low grade ;D

That and I believe it has a nice dial to control speed. I wish the better would have been on sale when I got mine. Do love the drill though. Very accurate for me.
