Out of curiosity...How many people are planning on running a Pro-Mod (w/ needle axles) and how many are planning on running a bearing car next season ? If there is enough interest in both types, I could see that making another class would be worth the time, if not...one class would be the way to go. Thanks !! Lucky 13I'm planning on running both. By the looks of it, I'll be by myself with bearings. I guess that's one way to win a championship with no competition. Go ahead Lucky and set up bearings separately so I can win. ;D Scott Beakerboys

How about the name "Extreme" for the new division? I updated the registration form with the new division. www.pwdracing.com/PwdRL_Registration_2009.pdfDepending on the number of entries, the Pro-Modified and Extreme divisions will be raced at the same time but they will be tracked as separate divisions.

Am I the only one that feels we may be jumping the gun here ? Have we thought about just rolling with what we have, giving it a few months to see if there is going to be a big difference in needle and bearing cars, if there is going to be enough interest in a bearing only class and then make a decision ? Sorta like the 2007 season when we realized it was time to divide the big axles and needle axles in stock and modified, so we made the change during the season. If after a few months of racing we see a need to separate the two we can always go back and make adjustment to the points, records, etc... Basically, I'm just thinking that this needs to be thought out a little more !?
Just thinking out loud guys, don't beat me up to bad !!

Anymore opinions/ideas out there on this matter ? Should we put it to a vote ? Roll with what we have ? Add the new division ?

I have a bearing car that I could race....
I don't care what class it is or what you call it, I would just like to finally have a place to race this thing!
