Just reading the rules for the Hot Rod 66 Division and had a question or two... ??
WHEELS: 7. Rear wheels must comply with Pro-Stock Requirements.
8. Front Wheels must comply with Modified Wheel requirements. (Pro-Modified ??)
9. There must be at least four wheels on the car, however it is not required that all four wheels make contact with the track surface.
10. The wheels must be attached directly to axle and spin freely.
I know these rules were written before you divided the Divisions from Big Axles (rule #8 in the Wheels)... and the needles (rule #7 for Pro Stock...)
I see that there may need some adjustments to this section of rules for this division as well... Am I reading correct ? I'm sure you have overlooked this and it is very easy to do so...
My question is for Hot Rod 66 Division... Can you use needle axles for the front and rear in this Division, is this correct ??
Thanks...

Your right David, we did miss that when we added the new modified division. Thanks for pointing that out . As PaintDude already answered - needles are allowed in this class.

I thought you use the might grandfather clause for those of us that built our cars when we just had the Modified Class, and now everybody else would have to use the full size axles.
Just a (bad) thought.
Looking forward to all the new Hot Rod 66's at Lima.

...Looking forward to all the new Hot Rod 66's at Lima. Phil Phil, We'll be bringin' at least one, maybe two if we can get 'er finished in time. Of course, in that class we'll not only be bringin' cars, we'll be bringin' something else... bringin' up the rear, that is!!! . We know we're not exactly "big dogs", but we still just don't like sittin' on the porch by ourselves LOL. Gonna have to look into those fancy needle axles one of these days, I guess...
