ProQuest Proquest, you and knothead mustve given my car a real run to the end. A tie for first is the best way to start the new year. I wish that I couldve stayed until the end, but I promised my family a dinner at the olive garden. Great track, great video, and great guys. It was awesome. PS- Steve, I feel for you with the 16 year old daughter. Mine is in the 6th grade and I can only imagine how it will be when the boys want to take her to the movies.

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Way to go Warren and helpers!
What a way to start out a new year of racing. It took a little while to get going, but it was worth the wait. The video was the best I've seen so far, and the competition was close. Congratulations not only to the winners, but to all competitors, especially the new racers this month.
Can't wait to see the F.R.E.D. class next month.
Phil

UGH!!! When it rains it pours. . .on Monday I had a real car die - something about a front bearing disintegrating and causing other things to get bent out of shape. . . scrapped and only 6,500 miles short of 200K! Anyone have an inexpensive car for a Minnesota winter-beater? This just added to the "good mood" that I was in after Saturday evening's "technical challenge". Shortly after pushing the reports to the web site I went to the video computer to save the video project and it blinked away for a couple of minutes and the gave me "The Blue Screen of Death" and it looks like it trashed lots of the disk while losing the videos!!!! Lesson from this is that we never had a problem when we did the primary videos to a recorder directly - only have problems when I try to use the computer to do the recording. I'll have to pick up a video recorder that is able to record on it's own media and not the computer. SORRY Racers! I used the good old IBM for the races on Sunday. 2008 season car count: Friday: 97, Saturday 30, Sunday 48 for a total of 175 cars. Only had one car that jumped the lane guides. It was a raised wheel design and the raised wheel was higher then the center guide rails and it wasn't turning into the rail with the wheel that was down. It was a frustrating weekend at times but I'm back on-line and getting things back together! I was just reviewing the posted reports and noticed that in the Standings report cars were "mis-classified" all over the place. . . . The thing that I noticed was the lack of Pro-Modified division. . . Menace2Pinciety, Grumpy's Toy III, and Quattro are all Pro-Mods aren't they? I'll check the point summaries that I have at work to see if they have the cars in the correct divisions and see if I can figure out what is up with this system. . . .
