Dang it!!!
My Pro-Mod ("Ichiban") did not make the line up. I made some significant changes (good or bad? I don't know yet.), and it was all ready to go. But I ran out of time before I could make a shipping container that would assure safe transport of a needle axle car. One of my new year's resolutions was to spend some time making shipping containers before sending any more needle cars to any races. Haven't gotten to it yet. Oh well, at least my Limited, Stock and Modified will be there -- made my usual monthly midnight run to the 24 hours post office to mail them by overnight delivery.
Best of Luck to all on Saturday -- just a little more than 48 hours from now!!!

We're playing with putting our first Pro Mod together for February. Shhh!!! That way we'll have other cars to send in with the F.R.E.D. Old School cars. Bubba

Hey Rick:
I've gotten lots of good ideas from some of our brethren here on the boards. Many of the designs I've seen are excellent, but beyond my ability to replicate. So, I'm taking bits and pieces from several to make one that I hope will do the trick. When I have the design finalized I'll share.

OK Dudes: Less than 24 hours til the green flag. Are we still shooting for 2:00 p.m. Eastern? Any predictions? Here are mine -- JK will be tough in Rookie. JAC in Limited. I see no end to docb's domination in Stock. Warthog and Slkr will be too close to call in Pro-Stock. Barge has got to be the favorite in HR66. Modified will be a toss up between D&M and Knothead. And finally, Warthog rules in Pro-Mod. A birdie told me that B&B is taking a month off. Otherwise he'd be tough in whatever class he enters. Hope my cars made it there -- in one piece (hey Bruce, I almost spelled "piece" as "p-e-a-c-e") (inside joke guys). Rock and roll. ProQuest/Steve H.

Well good luck tomorrow guys. Unfortunately I was very disappointed with one of my cars and decided not to send any, I was really looking forward to the races after the three week layoff, but I will be ready for February.

Hey DD:
You are a threat in any class you enter -- especially mod.
Enrico:
Won't be the same without you, but there's always the next race.

Good Luck to all the racers today!
As many of you have probably heard, I will be taking a break from racing. It was a lot of fun helping run the races last year. I greatly appreciate all those who joined in the racing with us and wish you all the best of luck this season. THANK YOU!
I know that Warren and his family will continue doing their great work with running the races. I wish them the best with the new track and the races.

Scott,
Your contribution to this league has been immeasurable. Thanks for all you have done. It has been an honor and pleasure racing with you. We will miss you while you're gone. One last thing -- can I have Gumby? Just kidding. Not really.

Scott Scott, Sorry to hear that you will be taking a break from racing, but I know it takes a lot of time and work to do. I personally enjoyed getting to know you, and I have a lot of respect for you (and Warren). Thank you for all you did to make the league and the Lima race huge successes. I hope in the near future you will be back helping in one way or another. I know Warren will miss you too. You guys really compliment each other. Warren, I know you and your family will continue to do a great job on the races. Good luck to both of you. Phil
