Hey Warren, is there any limit to how many coupons we can buy? Does buying more help you out more?

No limit. I would say that buying one for each month you are going to race at least a single car would be the maximum "savings" on the registration fees. Since cars 2-5 are also at the $10 amount there is no financial benefit for you. There is a benefit for you in that we'll be able to get a track and timer that is dedicated to these races.
For over 5 cars in a month you would be paying $2 extra for each car over 5. . . may be harder to justify to the "financial department".
If you want to just donate directly that is ok too.

Hey everyone:
Just a quick note to say that a brand new 42' three lane best track and Micro Wizard K3 timer are ordered and will be in route to Warren shortly. We are still several $$100.00 shy of what we need to pay for the set up, so if you are going to pre-purchase entry fees, or make contributions, please do so right away.
With all the seasonal expenses everyone has at this time of year, we recognize that the timing on this couldn't be worse. So, no pressure -- do only what you can and wish to do. I pre-paid a few entry fees to save $$ -- Warren is offering the pre-paid entries for $10 each, which is a discount of $2 off the first car you enter each month. If you buy 5 entries at $10 each, and use one each month for 5 months, you have saved $10 over what you otherwise would pay, and you've helped the league buy a new track and timer in the process. That's what we in the mediation business call a "win-win."
Have a safe and wonderful Christmas all.

. That's what we in the mediation business call a "win-win." ProQuest/Steve H. Great job to all of the PWD guys and everyone that helped out. I think it says a lot about the guys that race here. I think its only been a week and the track is ordered already. Good luck to everyone for the next race.

Hey Guys:
Unless my math is off, the track is 100% paid for -- now we're working on the timer.
Way to go. And Merry Christmas too.

Good News! The timer looks like it has shipped (I see it on my bank account.) The track will ship tomorrow - would have shipped today but bank has some rule about maximum daily purchases and only being able to change that in person at a branch location. . . The Pre-Paid coupons are ready to be sent out. My plan is to get them out tonight with the FRED kits that have been ordered. Thanks everyone for your generous assistance!

Pre-Paid Coupons went out - FRED Kits didn't make it - The 24hour APCs(Automated Postal Counters) were down for periodic maintenance last night at 10:30PM when I went to drop them off. . . I left them at home on the counter so they will be dropped off today. . . gotta get some more of the 'Click-and-ship' labels for the laser printer. . . . Everything should be on it's way! Estimated delivery of time is Jan. 2nd - 4th. I did go over "budget" a bit(a wee bit under $500) by adding some 'spare' parts like an remote time display(about 1/2 of the overage), extra power supply, starting gate sensors, detector harness, stopping section tape, etc. Actual amount was $1,276.38 - talk about a post-holiday hit! Thanks to everyone who has done a great job to keep us up and running! This weekend is finishing the 6 lane/64ft BetaCraft track and next weekend will be putting together the new BestTrack after the first Pack race of the season on Saturday morning! :-)

Well, I din't get the BetaCraft quite finished - track set-up is Friday evening so I stil have time. . . BUT UPS has 4 deliveries scheduled as "On-Time" for today!!! 3 for the Track and 1 for the timer stuff!!!! I sure hope the kids answer the door to get it! Has anyone gotten the Pre-Paid Coupons yet? Looking for some feedback on them. Should I have them year round or only at the holidays? I'm thinking they would make "different" gifts for those of us who are pinewood hardcores.

Hey Warren:
My coupons were in the mail when I returned home from a short vacation on New Year's eve. They look great. Why not make them available year round? Unless it makes your record keeping more difficult, I can't think of a down side. Anyway, good job.

Warren,
My coupons were in the mail on New Years eve also. Nice Job on them, they look great. As far as the year around coupons, I say go for it. What's to loose?
I thought I would use mine on different months and for the second car. That way you would have more money coming in during the first months. You haven't gained much if you have to redeem them all in January.
Thanks for everything you do.
Phil
